| Roads into T.F. Green Airport ( PVD Providence Airport) were shut down Friday after officials say someone got through a security checkpoint without being fully screened. At approximately 6:00am July 16, 2010, during airport rush hour, all flights at the airport were grounded. All roads to the airport are now open and flights are again taking off. |

| Although temperatures in Warwick and North Kingstown, Rhode Island soared to 106 and 108 degrees, the "official" state high temperature of 102 broke the record at T.F. Green Airport on Warwick, R.I. But as everyone knows, no one lives at the airport. |
Dangerously High Temperatures, NOAA Heat Advisory Forecast

| The National Weather Service issued a heat advisory for Tuesday, July 6, 2010. Temperatures in the Providence, R.I. area are expected to reach 100 to 104 degrees. Heat and humidity will increase during the day making it almost impossible to work outside. Monday's high of 97 was one degree shy of the record of 98 degrees set at T.F. Green Airport. |
TSA Full Body Scanner T.F. Green Airport Invasion of Privacy

| Are you concerned about your privacy? The Transportation Security Administration installed a new whole body scanner that takes full images of people going through the machine. The scanner takes detailed pictures underneath any clothing, showing whoever is behind the scanner everything. |

| No one was harmed Tuesday when a plane carrying 36 passengers hit an empty plane on the ground at T.F. Green Airport in Rhode Island. While both aircrafts were damaged slightly, everyone walked away from the incident without injury according to airport officials. |
